Mediterranean Diet Improves Healthy Ageing with Good Gut Microbiome. A New Study Reported this.

On February 17, 2020, a new study published in journal Gut found that mediterranean diet intervention changes the gut microbiome in older people lowering frailty and promoting health status.

The findings support the feasibility of improving the habitual diet to alter the gut microbiota which in turn has the potential to improve healthy ageing.
